About Us
Sustainable Climate Innovations
Climate Action & Community Outreach Initiative (CACOI) is a registered NGO whose aim and objective is to take action to tackle climate change in Nigeria. We are an independent body focused on promoting sustainable innovations for rural and urban communities to mitigate the adverse effects of climate change. Our aims are to work with international development partners, government, the private sector, and individuals to tackle the challenges of climate change.

Transforming food waste in Urban and Rural communities. The impact of climate on wasted food and opportunities for companies to reduce waste in the food change as a panacea in reducing Urban and Rural food loss.
Education and Advocacy
Urban forest and green space are key components of sustainable and resilient urban development, by providing a wide range of ecosystem of goods and services they play an important role towards carbon sequestration and the achievement of the sustainable development Goals , SDG11, which focuses on making cities safe , resilient and sustainable.
Providing Shelters
Providing shelter for indigent members of communities in areas severely affected by climate change.
Technology
Providing technological items and equipment needed to combat climate change and its effects in affected communities.
Clean Energy
The technologies and innovations enabling the decarbonization of both Urban and Rural Economy through carbon capture and storage by disrupting the business - as – usual phrase through carbon credit as an alternative source of income generation.

Our Mission
We have an unwavering mission to partner and work with government, private sectors, international development partners and individuals to:
- Tackle energy-related challenges in rural communities, especially in the Northern Part of Nigeria. In this way, we contribute hugely to the economic growth and development of the region.
- Take on opportunities that require world-class skills and experience. CACOI's team members, have between them over 56 years’ experience, with expertise in agriculture and agribusiness, chemical engineering, water management, oil and gas, logistics, law, marketing and business management.
